Bitumen 40/50

Bitumen 40/50 is a type of penetrating bitumen. It is obtained by aeration process on the bottom of the distillation tower, known as vacuum baton, so that its permeability is between 40 and 50.

Uses of this type of bitumen are in the road construction industry for tropical areas, insulation and also the production of liquid bitumen.
